We are at the point of finding synergies between different political groups and how to use existing rooms and potentials.
But their is still the need for a new social centre in Neukölln.

EN – Infosec-Workshop by resist.berlin
– Nov. 22nd, 7pm, @ Wildenbruchstr. 24

Topic: SMARTPHONES

Starting in November, every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 7-10 PM we will hold infosec workshops (PC and smartphone security) at Wildenbruchstr. 24. Let’s not just bash the evil companies, but also develop opportunities for action: switch to Free Software, practice encryption, increase our awareness for data use/abuse, build autonomous infrastructure and more.

On this date, we will talk about how to run a Google/Apple/Microsoft-free phone, install F-Droid and Free Software apps, use end-to-end encryption, avoid tracking and more. Please bring your phones 🙂

IMPORTANT: if you have any of the devices below lying around, please bring them to the workshop! We will be able to install Replicant 6.0 (a 100% free operating system with focus on privacy and security, see https://replicant.us/) right away, and you will get a nice phone for activism:

Thema: SMARTPHONES

Ab November gibt es in der Wildenbruchstr. 24 jew. am zweiten und vierten Donnerstag des Monats von 19 bis 22 Uhr Workshops zur PC- und Smartphone-Sicherheit. Also nicht nur über die bösen Konzerne schimpfen, sondern auch eigene Handlungsmöglichkeiten entwickeln: zu Freier Software wechseln, verschlüsseln üben, Bewusstsein für den Umgang mit Daten entwickeln, selbstverwaltete Infrastruktur aufbauen und mehr.

An diesem Termin werden wir euch erzählen, wie man ein Google/Apple/Microsoft-freies Telefon betreibt, wie man F-Droid und Freie-Software-Apps installiert, wie man Ende-zu-Ende-Verschlüsselung nutzt, Tracking vermeidet und mehr. Bitte bringt eure Geräte mit 🙂

WICHTIG: wenn ihr eins der unten genannten Geräte herumliegen habt, bringt sie mit zum Workshop!
